His highness President of RSA, Adam Gilchrist and his champion team lifting up the DLF IPL T20 trophy. Deccan Chargers were last in table for DLF IPL 2008 held in India. V.V Laxman was the captain of this team in last year's DLF IPl and team was fail to leave impression. Gilli was declared as Golden Player of DLF IPL 2009 with most wickets behind the stumps and 500 plus runs. Gilli led his team with great spirit and won the championship. In semi final against Delhi Dare Devils gilli score fantastic 8o plus runs and qualified his team in finals......
